National Search and Rescue Dog Association
of CANADA 

ABOUT US:

The National Search and Rescue Dog Association is an Association created for Search and Rescue Dog handlers and trainers. The Association is not directly affiliated with any one specific Search and Rescue team or organization in Canada. It was designed to represent all Search and Rescue dog teams.

Whether you are on one of Canada's five National Heavy Urban Search and Rescue teams that are funded by the federal government or you are a small group of volunteers that respond to ground Search and Rescue incidents in your area, you can belong to our Association.

NSARDA is an Association designed to bring all SAR dog people together. Everyone that has a love and passion for the training and deployment of Search and Rescue dogs can benefit from joining this Association.

• To promote friendship and brotherhood between all those interested in the training and utilization of Search and Rescue dogs.
  
• To unite and assist civilians and government agencies in the training and continued improvement of their Search and Rescue Dogs. 

• To provide educational material through publications and training seminars and to coordinate the exchange of any advanced techniques of training in the utilization of Search and Rescue Dogs in Canada.

• To maintain a comprehensive list of all Search and Rescue dog teams in Canada.

• To Promote SAR events and prevention programs to the general public.
